Forum Features - DifferenceOnce again, the CV team is here featuring the works of dA's beloved forumers!
Once per month we'll select one active user in the +forum and we'll feature his or her gallery. This is someone we believe represents the forums well with both good forum-abilities and art.
As we're kind (and awesome), we also decided to give an opportunity to everybody to get featured! Every month, we'll create a thread in the Deviation Thumbshare Forum with a different theme. This thread will be made into a sticky for easy access. All you have to do is post thumbs from your gallery matching the theme and, at the end of the month, we'll select our favorite thumbs from that thread and feature them in the next news article
The best thing is that the only requirement is that you're an active member of the forums!

Show Me #4 - CatsI decided to start a feature series in the Deviation ThumbShare Forum based on themes and featuring the collected deviations on Sundays.

Here comes the amazing deviations

FeatureOh hai, another feature (what the hell is with this new layout, I am BAD with layouts, yo!)

First feature is for this beauty of a piece, I'm really fond of the space, and the use of techniques, its very basic but also well done!
I think critique wise there is something "missing", perhaps go a little deeper and have more meaning, or perhaps play around with the space down the bottom and make it more interesting. Generally its a lovely piece but you could push it just a tiny little bit further!

Anatomically there are a few week elements, and your colouring is almost there, like seriously, check out :icontheirison:'s work, its almost very similar and I think you could maybe pick up some awesome techniques.
The lines are interesting, kind of a branch between anime/cartoon work and semi realism, I think the only issue is consistency, the hair looks a different style completely, and perhaps just adding an outline would pull it in together?

hey guys, I'm so sorry for the delay of last week's Featured Deviant of the week. I came down with a bad infection and hit me hard for 2 weeks. I feel a little better today so now I can move around and do my daily stuff.

I've been watching this guy since Danny Phantom first aired. his gallery is like my Sunday comics whenever I feel a little down.
